Contemporary dance Class
Through sequences of floor work, the use of supports, level changes and fluidity will be explored in an organic way and with an efficient use of anatomy.
warm-up is also dedicated to deepening and improving the technical aspect of standing.
Through a series of core exercises that combine freedom and fluidity of the upper body with a solid and agile base of the legs.
The last part of the lesson is dedicated to short dance sequences that cross the space. Through the basic principles of the Limon technique, such as losing and recovering the axis, the suspension, and the momentum, choreographic phrases will be studied where the stylistic code of the teacher emerges, in a dynamic search for new coordination and dissociations within the body, with a continuous exchange between tone, technical agility and softness.
Contact Improvisation
together we will trace the mapping of the body in motion
in relation with others and the space that surrounds us
The body seen as a landscape to be explored a landscape body that constantly changes, adapts, finds strategies, organizes itself to allow itself to be spontaneously but consciously disorganized. In concrete terms, the lesson will develop in two phases, one more technical in which the body will be prepared exercises deriving from contact improvisation and body mind centering to understand the anatomical structure, amplify the senses and perception. and a phase of direct experimentation, through the practice in pairs or groups you will get to know the dynamics
of the body in motion
